Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technicians (BT)

  • RBTs/BTs work under the supervision of a BCBA and conduct one-on-one ABA therapy directly with the child.
  • They implement behavioral modification plans and ​​treatment plans designed by BCBAs/LABAs and record data during therapy.

Gifty Ampaw, PsyD, BCBA, LABA

Gifty Ampaw, PsyD, BCBA, LABA, is a leadership psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Massachusetts, specializing in autism treatment through strength-based and culturally sensitive approaches. She collaborates with clinical psychologists to conduct autism diagnostic evaluations for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Dr. Ampaw received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Worcester State University, a Masters degree in ABA from Northeastern University, and a Doctorate degree in Leadership Psychology from William James College, with an emphasis of study in African and Caribbean Mental Health. Dr. Ampaw has over 15 years of experience in the autism field as a behavior therapist, school administrator, trauma-focused ABA clinician, and assistant clinical director. As a Ghanaian immigrant, she is dedicated to enhancing resources for autism diagnosis and treatment within underserved ethnic and cultural communities.
